Stoney Littleton aqueduct

Stoney Littleton Aqueduct carried the canal over a small brook. The Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway was built just to the south of the aqueduct, leaving its north face untouched. The footpath runs behind the aqueduct and then along the field, from where this photo was taken.

Any chance you could post the precise LAT/LONG coordinates of this aqueduct?

    Thanks, Tom

    Hi Tom,

Stoney Littleton Aqueduct is at 51.308055N, -2.3927021W. On the OS map, look for the point where the small stream intersects the disused railway. There is a public footpath that crosses the aqueduct, then turns left and runs past the point where the photo was taken.

    Hope this helps,

    Dom
