Southstoke Accommodation Bridge

Between locks 19 and 20 the canal was crossed by Southstoke Accommodation Bridge. The bridge was demolished in the 1950s and only some fragments of masonry survive.

    I'm glad you like the photos, they were taken in 2009/2010. This particular one was taken in the winter when the vegetation had died back and I noticed this bit of bridge hiding away...
